DBV Technologies Submits Biologics License Application to FDA for Viaskin Peanut for the Treatment of Peanut Allergy
The BLA is the final step toward receiving FDA approval to market a drug or therapy once all the clinical trials have been completed. The company originally submitted their BLA for the Viaskin Peanut "patch" in December, but voluntarily retracted it to bolster the information contained in the application. The application has now been resubmitted. Sometime soon, the first two food allergy therapies could be approved by the FDA: Aimmune's AR101 (an OIT candidate) and DBV's Viaskin Peanut.

We even tell you if your allergen of concern is processed in the same line or facility.
